In June 2006, Annika Ström organised a children’s demonstration to publicise the fact that Hove does not have a public contemporary art gallery—a fact that was a profound shock when she arrived in the town a few months earlier. This event was followed by an exhibition—Call for a Demonstration—at the meta. gallery in Hove in July 2006 and a book, launched in July 2007 at the Living Room, London.
